Being cis is not the problem.  The problem is that people still have the delusion that they are better than others and therefore have the right to consider and treat others as if they aren’t human.  This is seen in all matters of prejudice.

“I’m white, you are not, you must be a piece of shit and you don’t deserve to be happy so just keep living to make me happy until you die and I replace you.”  I’m not aiming this just at slavery, since that isn’t really a hot button issue in our time, but I am focusing on the stereotypes and racial slurs we make.  If we didn’t have someone to see as racially lower than us (and this is any racial situation, I just used  the most common racial issue that I’ve encountered) then we would have to accept that we can cause problems as well and people have an issue with swallowing their pride and seeing themselves as anything but great (for the most part, there are also people that hate themselves and I really wish they didn’t.)  The point of this one is that not all white people think this way.  Therefore, eradicating that particular race (or whichever is perceived as oppressive) will do nothing but cause further problems.

“I was born a boy, you were not.  You must be either weak, pathetic, or worthless.  You are weak if you are a girl.  You are pathetic if you are a girl who thinks they should have been born a guy.  You are worthless if you don’t side with any gender or have so weird in between or not entirely one or the other thing going on because that is bullshit and you just want attention.”  Again, just using a typical example.  Not all boys think this way.  Not all people of one gender are against anyone who isn’t cis gender.  Therefore, diminishing or destroying cisgender people will cause no progress.  In fact it will stop progress.

“I’m straight, you aren’t.  You are either desperate, a whore, or a prude who can’t get any.  You should be straight because that’s what people are meant to be.  Gays are disgusting.”  (I am refraining from placing religion into this argument because believe it or not, not all of these types of people are religious.  Some are just stubborn and stuck in the ways of their society.  We have to give them time to adjust and guidance.  Also, I refrain from say they are homophobic, as there are many sexualities, not just heterosexual and homosexual.)  This point of view is rather common, though I have also seen cases where someone who isn’t heterosexual will aim hate at anyone who is or even anyone who isn’t their particular sexuality.  Getting rid of someone for being a certain sexuality will not improve society.

Here are the main points if you didn’t want to read all of that:  Getting rid of a certain racial group will not create equality and peace; getting rid of a certain gender group will not create equality and peace; getting rid of a certain sexuality group will not create equality and peace.  

Please try to understand that cutting out a part of society does not fix  society, it hinders its ability to grow and prosper.  Thank you for listening, I apologise for intruding.  I also apologise for any typos or missed words.  I was also going off of generalizations to attempt to explain how some of our unenlightened brothers and sisters have been socialized into thinking is the right thing to think.  Have a great day and again thank you for taking the time to listen.
