Something that pisses me off is adults that think since you’re younger than them they don’t have to apologize if they do something wrong, or are mean, etc, but expect you to apologize if you make a mistake. like, i dont think so.
I have this issue at work. One of my managers treats all of us like shit. She called me a liar for about twenty minutes straight and when she finally found out she was wrong she just didn’t talk to me for the rest of the day even though she owed me an apology. Even though I hate her I will apologise if she was right and I was wrong. But I believe her mentality here is ‘Oh, I’m older and more experienced than they are, so even if I am wrong I really don’t need to acknowledge it.’ I hate that mentality. I hate ageism and no one really addresses it.
